Alpaca Hike in Sölden

“With heart and hooves through the Ötztal mountains”

Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 AM, the Brandlehof above Sölden transforms into a peaceful alpine meadow – the starting point for a truly unique nature experience: a guided alpaca hike in the Ötztal. From June 21 to September 27, 2025, guests, families, couples, and animal lovers can join this mindful adventure and discover the mountain world of Sölden in the calmest way possible – alongside gentle, friendly alpacas.

Slow down with fluffy companions

The approximately three-hour hike (09:00–around 12:00) follows scenic trails with views of the Giggijoch, Gaislachkogl, and the surrounding peaks. Along the way, the Brandlehof team shares fascinating insights into alpaca breeding, care, and behavior. And after just a few minutes, most participants notice: the calm, balanced nature of the animals is incredibly contagious.

Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or planning a family outing during your summer vacation, this experience is suitable for all ages. Especially for children, the calm and gentle presence of the animals creates truly special moments.
