Sölden also has a lot to offer for kids and teens: With the Ötztal Inside Summer Card, families can easily reach altitudes of over 3,000 meters by cable car – for example, to the spectacular ice Q restaurant, made famous by the James Bond movie Spectre. A highlight for action fans: the original film rock, where the Land Rover Defender from the movie still braves the mountain weather. Back at THE SECRET Sölden, families can relax in the comfort and privacy of their own apartment – while the kids burn off energy at the adjacent natural playground.

As a guest at THE SECRET, you’ll receive the Ötztal Inside Summer Card for free. This includes one free ascent and descent per day on all summer mountain lifts, free use of hiking buses, and discounts at many leisure attractions – ideal for families with children and teens.
In summer, cows and calves take over the alpine meadows where skiers race downhill in winter. Along many family-friendly hiking trails, interactive stations teach children all about alpine life – from balancing games and musical spots to storytelling corners. Along the way, you’ll also meet animals and enjoy fresh alpine milk.
On the quieter side of Sölden, in the idyllic Windachtal, families can immerse themselves in nature without cable cars. The Waalweg trail is especially recommended – a gentle and educational path following old irrigation channels. Or explore a stretch of the Ötztal Trek, which runs through the entire valley.
