ARRIVING BY CAR
Please note that a toll road sticker is mandatory on Austrian motorways and in winter, keep an eye on the road and weather conditions. Winter tyres are mandatory and snow chains are advised, even if the the roads leading into the Ötztal valley are generally well cleared.
BIKES & E-BIKES
We do not have any of our own bikes for hire at the resort but our partners offer some top bikes and fantastic conditions. Simply drop by the Welcome Desk.
BIKE AND SKI CELLAR
The ski cellar at THE SECRET is fitted with ultra-modern lockable lockers with an integrated shoe dryer.
In summer, the ski cellar is transformed into a bike cellar and the lockers provide storage space for helmets and sportswear.
BIKE WASHING POINT AND REPAIR CORNER
The bike washing point and the repair corner in the underground parking garage is free to use.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
We guarantee that you can check in to your booked suite by 16:00. You are welcome to arrive earlier, relax in the LE FEEL wellness area and enjoy some drinks and snacks at the LA’LIV. If you wish to arrive in the morning, you can book an extra breakfast; just let us know in advance.
We request that you vacate your suite by 10:00 on the departure date. You are welcome to make use the LE FEEL and the LA’LIV afterwards. If you wish to spend your last day doing sports, you can shower and get changed after skiing, walking or biking in the specially provided area.
ADVANTAGES OF DIRECT BOOKING
Those who book direct with THE SECRET Sölden benefit from the breakfast service in the room (depending on availability), a free underground parking space (€ 10.- per night otherwise), the best price and a special mystery surprise. EATING & DRINKING
Breakfast: Enjoy the rich breakfast buffet at LA'LIV.
During the day, you can enjoy drinks and snacks at the LA'LIV as part of the open bar offer; this service is included in the room price.
In the evening, French-Alpine fusion cuisine awaits at the LA'LIV. Please book in advance. THE VUE Sky Bar attracts guests with its bartender artistry and flavour explosions beneath the stars.
RESORT TAX
Prices do not include the legally required resort tax of € 3.50 per person/day which is then used by the tourist region to your advantage. Children born between 2007 - 2022 are not required to pay resort tax.
PARKING
The resort has its own underground parking garage with an e-charging station. One parking space is provided for each ‘Small’ suite. For all other suite categories, two spaces are provided.
SMOKING
THE SECRET is a non-smoking resort. Ashtrays are provided on the balconies and terraces.
SKI PASSES AT THE RESORT
Ski passes are readily available from the Welcome Desk in winter - for the same price as at the mountain railway counter. We can add the ski passes to your room bill or you can pay for them separately. A ski pass deposit of € 3.00 is charged.
Ski passes are also available for children/young people. Please bring photo ID for your children/youngsters as proof of their age.
SKI PISTE
No ski bus, no shuttle, simply over the bridge into Sölden’s world of skiing fun! THE SECRET awaits in a wonderfully peaceful and hidden-away location by the Gaislachkogelbahn gondola where you nearly ski-in & ski-out!
GUARANTEED SNOW
The Sölden ski resort is characterised by guaranteed snow - right up until spring. Thanks to its high altitude location, glaciers and artificial snow-making facilities.
LE FEEL OPENING TIMES & ACCESS
The indoor & outdoor infinity pool invites adults and children to enjoy bathing here from 07:00.
The sauna and relaxation room on the 1st floor opens at 13:00 for adults and young people aged 16 and over.
LE FEEL closes at 20:00, except on days with late night sauna or exclusive sauna night, then at 23:00.
A hire bag containing dressing gowns for all ages, sauna towels and slippers in your suite. Please bring bathing shoes for your children.
TERMS OF CANCELLATION
- Up to 31 days before the arrival date - Free cancellation
- 1 month to 1 week before the arrival date - 70% of the package price
- Less than 1 week before your arrival and in the event of a no-show - 90% of the package price
- Cancellation on the arrival date or early departure - 100% of the package price
Please note that cancellations can only be accepted in writing.
TIPS FOR YOUR HOLIDAY WITH A DOG
- Dogs are welcome at THE SECRET, by agreement. Please let us know that you will be bringing your best friend when you book.
- We charge € 25.- per animal per night (without food).
- Please bring accessories such as water and food bowls with you.
- Please note that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant, THE VUE Skybar, LE FEEL spa and our sunbathing areas. Your dog is welcome to wait in the lobby area or on the terrace.
- We reserve the right to bill you for any intensive final clean required when you leave.
- No other pets are permitted.
